Israel Adesanya gives reasons why everyone in the UFC Middleweight division should be thanking him.

Israel Adesanya, a professional mixed martial arts fighter from New Zealand who is of Nigerian origin, has emerged victorious over his longstanding opponent Alex Pereira.

UFC 295 takes place in New York City as Madison Square Garden hosts the promotion's comeback.

In the main event, former champion Jiri Prochazka will challenge former middleweight champion Pereira for the vacant light heavyweight belt.

In March 2021, "Poatan" will strive to accomplish what Adesanya was unable to accomplish by winning a second divisional title.

Adesanya also teamed up with American rapper, songwriter, and record producer Marshall Bruce Mathers III, known professionally as Eminem as they should turn up for the fight.

After his most recent victory, which came in their fourth overall MMA and kickboxing match, Adesanya defeated Pereira in the second round to become a two-time UFC middleweight champion.

Following the defeat, Pereira switched to light heavyweight, where he defeated Jan Blachowicz, the guy who had stopped Adesanya for the 205-pound title.

Although Pereira earned this opportunity, Adesanya claims that the victory ultimately kept the 185-pound class safe from the threat posed by "Poatan."

Adesanya on his YouTube channel Stylebender said, “These middleweights can get on their f****** knees and thank me 'cause I got this man out of there. If not, you would have to deal with him over and over and over again, all of you,”

“I doubt any of you would want to f****** fight this guy. I did four times but I got it done just with one.”

Following a unanimous decision to dethrone Adesanya in September, Sean Strickland is currently the middleweight champion.

In the meantime, "The Last Stylebender" will watch tomorrow's bout alongside the rest of the mixed martial arts community, but he will take some time to relax on the sidelines before his next move.
