The Olympics 100m champion and his fiancé Junelle Bromfield were at the US Grand Prix in Las Vegas at the weekend and they were left stunned by how things are done in the sport.
What took Lyles by surprise was the starting grid where fans stand very close to the cars before they leave, the sprinter comparing it with athletics where fans stay far away from the starting blocks.

Noah Lyles and Junelle Bromfield captured attention at the Las Vegas Grand Prix with their chic outfits and dynamic presence.
“I was just telling my fiancé this is so weird you never see it in track and field. Someone coming on here and staring at you while you get into your starting blocks,” said a surprised Lyles.
His interviewer then had to explain to him the dynamics that make the two sports different.
“In track you all start in a straight line so we can’t do that unfortunately,” said the presenter.
George Russell won the Las Vegas Grand Prix with British team-mate Lewis Hamilton completing a top two for Mercedes while Spain’s Carlos Sainz was third with his Ferrari stable-mate Charles Leclerc fourth.
However, Dutchman Max Verstappen won his fourth world title after finishing fifth in his Red Bull to further enhance his reputation as one of the sport's best.
Lyles has pitched tent in Las Vegas where he is doing his training from as he prepares for the 2025 season where he is bidding to defend his 100m and 200m world titles.
