Uganda Musicians Federation (UMF) president Edrisa Musuza alias Eddy Kenzo has expressed delight with the new look of the re-developed Nakivubo War Memorial Stadium.
The 'Balipila boda' singer was all praises to the developer Hamis Kiggundu, underlining his gratitude for the standards to which he has raised the facility.
"My story started at Nakivubo Stadium, and I thank for the blessings," he said via his social media handles.
"I passed by to see the work done by Mr Ham Kiggundu, but he needs proper appreciation," he added.
"He (Ham) gave the Stadium a whole new class. I can't wait for the opening," Kenzo summed.
Works on the Stadium have neared completion, and it surely won't be too long before it gets busy again.
Ham had initially projected Nakivubo's opening before the end of the year, but with just days to closure, there are no signs of the grand ceremony.
The tycoon further revealed that His Excellence, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, the President of Uganda, would grace the Stadium's grand opening.
Meanwhile, it should be noted that Kenzo joins a list of prominent names that have been hosted by Ham to witness the magnificence.
Ham has hosted various members of parliament, KCCA executive led by the director Dorothy Kisaka, and various cabinet members, including Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja.
Meanwhile, Nakivubo was among the facilities tabled by Uganda as East Africa won the CAF bid to host the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.
