Liverpool, a powerhouse in the Premier League, has unveiled its brand-new home kit for the 2023–24 campaign, which pays homage to the iconic Bill Shankly's final campaign as the Reds' manager 50 years ago.

It is a classic style in vivid Liverpool red with a contrast white collar and cuffs that were inspired by Shankly's 1973–74 FA Cup–winning team.

In honor of the children, women, and men who were wrongfully killed as a result of the Hillsborough disaster, the 97 insignia, which is encircled by the eternal flames, is proudly displayed at the base of the neck on the reverse of the jersey.

Liverpool's Men’s club captain Jordan Henderson said was full of praise for the new jersey. He said, “The new home shirt is a classic.

"Given the inspiration behind the design, it feels iconic and a nod to the history of this great club.

The new kit will be worn for the first time by the current men's team against Aston Villa on May 20 at Anfield in the team's final home game of the year.

"We’re looking forward to wearing it at Anfield for the Villa game.”

A new video campaign is used to promote the kit, and it is set in a fantastic picture booth that takes the present team back to this particular time in the 1970s in Liverpool.

Jordan Henderson, Mohamed Salah, Missy Bo Kearns, and Taylor Hinds are among the players featured in the campaign.

The club's name and numbers are designed with a modern twist on vintage street signs from Liverpool, drawing influence from the city.

In his 14th and final season as Reds manager, the 1973–74 campaign, Shankly led a squad that included Ray Clemence, Kevin Keegan, and Ian Callaghan to the FA Cup championship.
