Babajide, who was born in London to Nigerian parents, represented England in youth competitions before moving to Nigeria in 2023.
The Tenerife player, who is now on vacation, posted a video on social media a week ago in which she attempted to complete the popular 12345678 challenge in Yoruba.
In the caption of the post, Babajide stated that she is learning her native language and is open to a private tutor while asking fans to rate her effort.

She has now found her desired tutor and took to social media to let fans know about her progress.
Along with a video of her lessons was a message that said, She said, "I had my first Yoruba lesson last weekend & this is how it went… 🥹🇳🇬
"It consisted of: learning the alphabet, identifying the vowels & consonants, spelling , correct pronunciation, accents & a little bit of history about Nigeria

Omorinsola Omowunmi Ajike Babajide was born in London, England on the 17th of June 1998.

Born to Nigerian immigrant parents, Babajide had the option to represent England or Nigeria at the international level.
After scoring 14 goals for the University of East London women's football team in a friendly match against the University College London women's football team that ended 40-0, Babajide gained media attention in 2016.
In January 2015, she transferred from Crystal Palace Ladies to Millwall Lionesses Ladies.
Babajide completed a transfer to Watford Ladies in February 2017.

Babajide, who joined Liverpool on January 25, 2018, was their second-leading goal scorer during the 2018–19 WSL season.
She has played for England at the Under-20 and Under-21 levels on the international stage.
Babajide switched her allegiance to Nigeria just as Super Falcons star Ashleigh Plumptre did.

In October 2023, she made her Super Falcons debut against Ethiopia in their 2024 Olympic Games Women's Qualifier.
But to her surprise, coach Randy Waldrum left her out of the final group that traveled to Paris.
