Adesanya alleged that his ex-girlfriend is demanding half of his wealth, despite not being legally married or having children together.

Adesanya who currently has a net worth of $4 million as per figures from Celebrity Net Worth, has also threatened legal action against his ex-girlfriend over her desire to split half of his fortune.

Once he joined the UFC, Adesanya started earning six-figure checks and made around a half-million during his first year with the company over four fights.
Adesanya saw his true breakout in terms of salary, though, when he took on Robert Whittaker at UFC 243 and received a cool $1 million.
In the past couple of years, Adesanya has had seven-figure payouts for fights with the likes of Paulo Costa, Jan Blachowicz, and Marvin Vettori.

In a screenshot posted by Adesanya last month, the 33-year-old Nigerian-born Kiwi fighter posted a message he supposedly sent to his ex-girlfriend Charlotte over their relationship which he seems relieved to have moved on from.
Via the screenshot, Adesanya accused Charlotte of trying to bring him down as she couldn’t cope with his superstardom.
Izzy suggested that his ex-girlfriend’s insecurities due to his fame as a UFC Champion contributed to their failed relationship.
2. Adesanya accused Charlotte Powdrell of being a ‘gold digger’

Throughout the message in the screenshot, Adesanya seemed constantly hit on his ex-girlfriend’s entitlement to his wealth.
Adesanya made it clear he is not willing to split his wealth with Charlotte, as the pair did not get married legally or have children together.
Izzy’s relationship with Charlotte Powdrell came to the limelight in 2019, after the pair was spotted together after his match against Robert Whittaker.

However, they broke up the following year for reasons undisclosed.
But the Achraf Hakimi and Hiba Abouk divorce saga triggered the UFC star who rarely posts about his personal life to react on social media via a series of trolls aimed at his ex-girlfriend.
Izzy posted a viral clip about Hakimi’s divorce on his Instagram story with a caption that read:
‘Very relatable….Imagine being so f****n entitled that you think you deserve what a man has worked his whole life for. When you came in to his life with nothing and tried to leave with Million$. But I like Achraf Hakimi, my assets are protected. I woulda taken half her sh** to. But I don’t want half of NOTHING.’

However, Adesanya did reveal that there is a tenancy agreement that exists between the former couple which he had encouraged her to sign.
3. He claims his ex-girlfriend makes him spend money

In Adesanya’s scathing message which he supposedly sent to his ex, the 'Last Style Bender' alleges that Charlotte never contributed financially to their relationship, nor was she of any financial value to him.
And an excerpt from the message Izzy shared via a screenshot read:
‘You have never helped me make money, only cost me money. Now you think you deserve half of my sh*t? What an entitled pompous brat you are, I sp*t on you.’
4. Adesanya accused his ex-girlfriend of playing the victim

Another likely reason why Adesanya broke up with Charlotte Powdrell is that she allegedly failed to own up to her responsibility.
Izzy alleged that he was a victim of emotional blackmail from his ex-girlfriend and also accused her of always playing the victim.

“Mentally drain me..hahaha!!, you are pathetic. Even worse than when you said ‘well you’re gonna have to break up with me then.’ so you can be a victim just the way you like it……show this to you lawyer too.”

Amongst other things, Adesanya claims his ex-girlfriend betrayed him and sold him out.

According to the screenshot Izzy shared, the UFC Middleweight champion alleged that his ex-girlfriend Charlotte Powdrell sold out information about him to the public.
An excerpt from the screenshot he shared read:
‘You don’t care about my life coz you sold info about me, so I don’t care about yours. I don’t even hate you, I just don’t care about you.’
6. Adesanya claims Charlotte Powdrell is threatening to sabotage his endorsement deals

Israel Adesanya also suggested that his ex-girlfriend is allegedly plotting to make him lose his endorsement deals, something that has UFC star does not joke about.
Adesanya is a brand ambassador for a host of big companies in the sports and betting industry.
In 2020, Izzy became the first MMA athlete to secure a sponsorship deal with sportswear giants Puma.
Adesanya also served as an ambassador for betting company Stake.com in early 2021.
These deals have contributed to the rise in his net worth over the years.
He is currently the highest-paid fighter in the entire UFC division, second only to Conor McGregor.
7. Adesanya said he has fallen out of love with Charlotte Powdrell
Another alleged reason why Izzy broke up with his ex-girlfriend was that he fell out of love with her.

Adesanya claimed in the screenshot he shared that he stopped caring about her and had stopped loving her from the very second he found out she allegedly sold him out.
