Burna Boy is arguably Africa’s most expensive artiste, but the 'Love Damini' star is set for his third show in Uganda midway through next year.

According to reports, Nigerian artiste Burna Boy, real name Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, is set to grace the grand opening of the newly renovated Nakivubo Stadium.

Trusted scoop has intimated to Pulse Sports that the Nakivubo Stadium management team feel Burna Boy is the perfect artiste for the grand opening of the historic stadium.

Burna Boy’s first performance was at Namboole Stadium in 2013 alongside Patra, Mafikizolo and Shaggy during the Club mega fest before he returned in 2019 at Sheraton Gardens.

He has previously performed at various international sporting events, including the 2023 UEFA Champions League final as Manchester City edged Inter Milan 1-0 at Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey.

Meanwhile, Nakivubo is nearly complete after seats, playing turf, and other specifics are installed.

Burna Boy's Exorbitant Charges and Requirements

According to Booking Entertainment, the musician charges $700,000 (about Shs2.59B) to $1,000,000 (about Shs 3.7B) for every international show as of 2023.

As per Pulse Nigeria, Burna Boy then requests a 13-seater jet, five vehicles, a sprinter bus, a van and three SUVs throughout his stay.

The 'On The Low' hitmaker then demands to stay at a five-star hotel with one deluxe king room, an exclusive smoking suite, two junior suites, six double standard rooms and a green room for relaxation.
