At the unveiling ceremony held Monday morning at the RFUEA Grounds, SportPesa revealed a sponsorship package worth Ksh16.5 million.
This generous contribution will see the circuit continue to be branded as the SportPesa 7s for the second consecutive year, building on the significant success of the 2023 edition.

Kenya Harlequins struck a partnership with Chloride Exide, which will be a huge relief for the side, having gone through some financial constraints last season.
This year’s edition, set to kick off on 27 July with the Christie 7s, sees an increase in sponsorship from 15 million KES in 2023 to the current 16.5 million KES.
The 2024 SportPesa 7s circuit will take place in five cities across the country over a span of two months.
Kenya Harlequin will host the opening tournament – Christie 7s – on 27-28 July before the action moves to Kakamega on 3-4 August for the KRU 7s, hosted by Western-affiliated clubs spearheaded by Kabras Sugar.
There will be a one-week break before the circuit makes a stop in Kisumu for the Dala 7s, set to take place from 17-18 August, before Mwamba hosts the Kabeberi 7s in Nairobi from 24-25 August.

Shujaa first Kenyan team to check into Olympics Village with sevens rugby set to kick off early
Kenya Sevens have already arrived into the Olympics Village ahead of rugby action that will start two days before the Paris Games' Opening Ceremony.
Another one-week break will precede the last two outings, set for Mombasa (Driftwood 7s on 7-8 September) and Nakuru (Prinsloo 7s on 14-15 September).

The top three in the men’s Division 1 will receive 100,000 KES, 50,000 KES, and 25,000 KES, respectively, while the Division 2 men’s winner will pocket 50,000 KES.
In the three tournaments that will host a women’s event, the winner and runner-up of those legs will receive 70,000 KES and 30,000 KES, respectively.
Each of the six hosting clubs will also get 1 million KES to aid in the organization of their tournaments.
