Shujaa speedstar Patrick Odongo reveals Olympic inspiration for Safari Sevens glory
Patrick Odongo is looking to use the expereince of the Olympics to carry Shujaa to glory at the Safari Sevens.
Kenya were at it again, giving Zimbabwe no time to recover as Samuel Asati muscled his way through Zimbabwe's backline, before off-loading to the big William Mwanji who saw it over the try-line for Shujaa's second try to make it 12-0.
Zimbabwe, however, started seeing much of the ball using off-loads to spread the play that eventually paid with Tapiwa Malenga breaking for the try line with nobody home to defend him and score Zimbabwe's first try of the match on the stroke of half time.
The Zimbabweans came from the changing rooms guns blazing and took the game by the scruff, denying Shujaa even a sniff.
Their dominant possession of the ball eventually paid off after bidding their time with Carlos Matema breaking for the try-line to score their second and level the game before pulling ahead seconds later due to Shujaa's lack of possession.
