The round is well categorized to see a potential do- or-die final between KCB and Kabras. Should both sides managed to meet, the winner will without doubt clinch the converted overall title.

There is plenty at stake heading into the last day of Kabeberi Sevens, the final leg of the 2023 SportPesa National Sevens Circuit that is taking place at the RFUEA Grounds in Nairobi.

KCB’s hopes of clinching the title are still alive after finishing top of Pool D, having won all three of their fixtures against Moi University, Catholic Monks and 2022 circuit winners Menengai Oilers in a match that saw the bankers make a statement in the last game of division one action on Saturday evening.

They will be facing Mwamba, who finished second of group C after being hammered 21-10 by Kabras Sugar.

Heading into the tournament, KCB were just behind Kabras, who lead the table, by just one point. If they manage to beat Mwamba, they could potentially face Strathmore Leos in the semi finals.

Leos have their work cut out to beat Nondescripts, who lifted their maiden Tisap Sevens title last week. Nondies finished top of their group by beating Kenya Harlequin, who will be facing Nakuru RFC in the quarter finals of the main cup after finishing top of Pool B ahead of Leos.

Kabras Sugar will face Menengai Oilers in the final main cup quarter final fixture, knowing that a win will see them play one of Nakuru or Kenya Harlequin.

The round is well categorized to see a potential do- or-die final between KCB and Kabras. Should both sides managed to meet, the winner will without doubt clinch the converted overall title.
