Kabras and KCB remain the teams to beat with one leg of the National Sevens Circuit left but Strathmore and Menengai Oilers are hot on their heels.
USIU, winners of the Div 2 competition in Eldoret, have opted to play in the Div 2 competition at Kabeberi and their slot in Div 1 is taken up by Moi University.
