Gulu City Falcons, Kitante Eagles, Warriors and Elgon Wolves will be tussling for a slot in the final of the 2023 URU Championship playoffs in Jinja.
Elgon Wolves from Mbale and Kitante Eagles seem the favourites to fight for the lone promotion slot to the URU Championship to the Nile Special Premiership.
The two teams literally whitewashed their opponents in the quarterfinal and are lucky, at least for now, to have been separated going into the semi-finals on Saturday in Jinja.

Pius Ogena scored two tries before Tawfik Bagalana crossed the line inside the final minute to close business.
Elgon Wolves thrashed Mbarara Titans 55-3 as Kitante made a statement of their own, missing only four points to hit a century in a 96-6 win over Lira Big Boys.
But before we talk about the ultimate battle between the two sides in the final, they have to manoeuvre around Warriors and Gulu City Falcons.
Upcountry
Kitante starts the day against Gulu City Falcons at 2 pm before Wolves tackle Warriors.
“Now,” Wolves’ head coach Stephen Anguma tells Pulse Sports, “that is an advantage to the upcountry teams to show that they’re capable because the teams from central have been split.
“We are prepared to represent the upcountry teams because we need to spread the premiership far and wide if the game is to grow. We need to have topflight games in Mbale, Gulu etc.; that’s our prayer going into this weekend.
“We ask the fans from Jinja teams to turn up as well and support us to achieve this,” Anguma added.
The games will be played at Jinja Hippos' home at the Dams Water on the banks of the Nile River.
