Popular YouTuber IshowSpeed pulled off yet another major stunt when he matched Olympic gymnast Frederick ‘Flips’ Richard in a six-foot jump days after a close race with Noah Lyles.
Internet sensation IshowSpeed left gymnast Frederick ‘Flips’ Richard speechless when he matched his six-foot jump in another show of might from the YouTuber.
Days after running Olympics 100m champion Noah Lyles close in a 50m dash, Speed asked for a jump contest with gymnast Richard, who won bronze at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
They then started a contest for the highest vertical leap of which Richard went fast and finished with a backflip and it was Speed’s turn.
The YouTuber then jumped effortlessly to the dismay of Richard and after matching the gymnast, he was confident of beating him, saying: “We can go higher”, before adding “he cannot jump higher than me”.
However, when extra mats were added to the structure, Speed could not match Richard but the six-foot jump was a show of great athleticism from an amateur like him, leading to calls from fans for him to consider becoming a pro athlete.
“He seriously needs to start training for the next Olympics,” an impressed fan said on X.
“Born to be an athlete, forced to be an influencer,” another one commented.
“If Speed takes one of these sports seriously, he can be a true athlete because that jump just proves it for me,” another one commented.
