NWF President Daniel Igali emphasized the importance of the camp, stating that the goal was to have a podium finish at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
He said, "Our goal is to strive for podium finishes at the Olympics. That's why we're putting everything in place for optimal performance."
Six athletes, led by Tokyo 2020 silver medalist Blessing Oborodudu, will represent Nigeria in wrestling at the Paris Games.

The Nigerian Trials date for selection for the Paris Olympic Games has been announced by the AFN.
The contingent features five female wrestlers and one male wrestler, the camp follows an earlier two-week training session held in May.
