Serena Williams will receive another honour as she is set to be inducted into WTA's Hall of Fame for class of 2024.
Serena Williams is set to be inducted in the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) National Women's Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2024.
The retired tennis icon is widely regarded as one of the greatest players in history, having won 23 Grand Slam singles titles in her career - the most in the Open Era.

"The 2024 inductee class has broken barriers, challenged the status quo, and left an impact on history," the Hall of Fame said in its announcement.
Williams also won 14 major women's doubles titles, all with her sister Venus, and the pair was unbeaten in major doubles finals (the best unbeaten record in major finals in any discipline of the sport).

At the Olympics, Williams won four Olympic gold medals, three in women's doubles—an all-time joint record in tennis, shared with her sister. The duo are the only women in the Open Era to win Olympic gold in both singles and doubles.
