At least 250 golfers are expected to gather at the Vetlab Sports Club on Saturday, June 17, for the sixth leg of the 2023 NCBA Golf Series.

The event promises an exciting showcase of talent as top golfers compete for coveted slots in the Grand Finale, scheduled to take place later this year.

The winners of the overall gross, men's category, and women's category, will earn their place to compete in the highly anticipated Grand Finale.

The event follows the fifth leg of the series held last weekend at the Kakamega Sports Club where Cendric Konzolo, playing off handicap 5, defied all odds to emerge as the overall gross winner of the tournament with an impressive score of 78 gross.

Among the men, Victor Muhando, playing off handicap 11, secured the top spot with a score of 80 gross, while Lydia Okech, playing off handicap 20 was the star in the ladies' category with 91 gross points.

On his part, Vetlab Sports Club captain Anik Patel expressed his delight to host the sixth leg of the event.

He said: “Our course is in excellent condition and we are sure that it will offer a challenging yet enjoyable experience for all participants.

We anticipate a remarkable turnout and look forward to a great tournament as we celebrate our club’s historic achievement. We thank NCBA for being great partners and look forward to a strengthened relationship"
