Kenya Pipeline and KCB were away for the African Clubs Championships in Tunisia.

The third leg of the Kenya Volleyball Federation National Women’s League is scheduled for Saturday, May 27, and Sunday at the Ulinzi Sports Complex.

Former African champions KCB will take on newbies Post Bank on Saturday and they will be looking for redemption after failing to successfully defend their African title.

So far, they have not lost any match in the national league and they will be hoping to maintain the hot streak. Post Bank will also be hoping to make a strong comeback after more than three weeks of inactivity.

Reigning national champions Kenya Pipeline will also be heading into their match against KDF with their whole chest. They have had a great outing at the African Clubs Championships where they finished second and improved on their third-place finish last year.

They have had an unbeaten run since they started the league and might just be on their way to winning back-to-back titles courtesy of their impressive form.

Other matches in the line on Saturday will be between Vihiga and DCI. Vihiga have not won any match since the league started and DCI will prove to be a hard nut to crack for them.

DCI come into the match psyched after gaining experience at the Eastern Africa Police Chiefs Cooperation Organization (EAPCCO) Games in March.

Former national champions Kenya Prisons will also be taking on Nairobi Prisons. The wardresses are fighting hard to retain their title so they will definitely be fighting for a win. Another thrilling match will be between Kenya Army and Nairobi Water.

On Sunday, KCB will face Nairobi Water who have not also had a great season so far. Nairobi Prisons will also face off against Post Bank with the hope of winning their first match.

The thrilling match will be between Kenya Prisons and DCI. Both teams are tough but if DCI put up a good fight, they might secure a win over the wardresses. DCI are the only club that have managed to win just one set over Kenya Pipeline, something other teams haven’t hacked.

Kenya Army will also be locking horns against KDF as Kenya Pipeline take on Vihiga.
