The Nigeria Rope Skipping Federation has organized the maiden edition of the Rope Skipping League.
Nigeria-born Guinness World Records (GWR) holder Gbenga Ezekiel demonstrated his prowess to win the Rope Skipping League.
Gbenga secured 28% of his team's Amabutho Jumpers accumulated discipline points (ADP). Each team was made up of 10 players, and Amabutho Jumpers finished top of the league table with nine points from four matches.
With a total of 100 points in the league, Gbenga emerged as the captain with the most disciplinary points. In addition to winning the Dual Album, his outstanding performance of accruing a total of 28 discipline points in just two encounters earned him the prestigious King of the Match Award.

NCF approves subvention funds to Promote grassroots development
The NCF has carried out the ICC's mission to yearly welcome 250,000 new athletes into the sports through its Accelerated Growth Program.
Nine clubs that feature in the league are Boltad Rope Skipping Club, Synergy Rope Skipping Club, Amabutho Jumpers, and Kemrose Rope Skipping Club. Others are Vincenzo Rope Skipping Club, Kings Rope Skipping Club, and Oyemekun Knights Jump Rope Club, while the rest are JC Rope Skipping Club and LEMA Rope Skipping Club.

The President of the Federation, Dayo Oyewo said Nigeria is indeed making history in Rope Skipping haven produced Two Guinness World Record Holders and also becoming the first country in the world to unveil Rope Skipping League.

Nigeria Taekwondo Federation set for nationwide grassroots development
The Nigeria Taekwondo Federation President Cup will be held from June 19–21, 2023, at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.
He added that the concept of the league was conceived to engage the vibrant youths and also create a career pathway for them to thrive.
Reacting to the development, the General Manager of Ondo State Sports Council Henry Babatunde expressed the satisfaction of the State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu towards the achievements of Nigerian Rope Skippers at the global level and affirmed his readiness to boost Rope Skipping in the State.
He also appreciated the Nigeria Rope Skipping Federation for choosing Ondo State to unveil Rope Skipping League and hopes to see more competitions of such magnitude held in the State.
