The Federation president revealed that adequate preparation is needed before the Rope Skipping League can commence.
The President of the Rope Skipping Federation, Dayo Oyewo, has stated that Nigerians and other stakeholders should expect professionalism from his team when the Rope Skipping League commences.
Recall that Pulse Sports had earlier reported that the Rope Skipping Federation organized a maiden edition of the Rope Skipping League in Ondo State.
However, Dayo Oyewo has stated that there is no need to rush the commencement of the Rope Skipping League.
Oyewo added that the association cannot afford to disappoint Rope Skipping enthusiasts worldwide by delivering amateur sports productions.
He charged all participants in national activities, including administrators, officials, and athletes, to perform their duties professionally.

The Rope Skipping Federation of Nigeria have set sights on grassroots development.
According to him, "Rope Skipping League is a structural pathway for career creation with so many economic benefits.
"The anticipated excitement will of course form the basic consideration of the need for excellence, especially following the satisfactory outcome of the just concluded Rope Skipping Introductory League.
"The truth is that understanding the function of a device does not imply a skillful demonstration of using it; there is time for everything under the sun. We cannot present an amateur production of sport to our fans and rope Skipping lovers around the world; and when it comes to national activities it must be done professionally by all stakeholders- Administrators, Managers, Agents, Players, and Officials.
"National Rope Skipping League is not what we plan to rush into, it's on the list of our 4-year strategic development plan. There is a need to prepare the players for the professional task of rope skipping within the period of this given year as contained in the plan.

Nigeria Rope Skipping Federation set to build formidable structure
The Rope Skipping Federation of Nigeria has set its sights on grassroots development.
"Each licensed Rope Skipping Club has enough time to do background work organizing players through the rope skipping academy and championships. This does not mean that the game of rope skipping will be on hold till the commencement of the league, but within the period there will be a good number of Club Academy Championships, which will mainly comprise primary and secondary school pupils, youths, and elite skippers to prepare them for the career pathway," he said.
The clamour for a National Rope Skipping League intensified after two young Nigerian students won Guinness World Records, thereby putting the Rope Skipping Federation on the world map.
