“I feel great…it’s my first win on the DP World Tour so I couldn’t be happier. Everything has gone well, I played well, held my composure and you know, it was a good day.
"I don’t know how to feel…another Dutchman won when I wasn’t on tour so I hope I can play in as many events as Maarten Lafeber did,” the Dutchman said.
Van Driel has led from Day One of the global event, scoring a five-under-par 66 on the first day and continuing with the same momentum to the second day where he scored a two-under-par 69.
He then extended the winning streak to Day Three, scoring a three-under-par 68 but Spaniard Elvira threatened his lead on the third day.
However, he did not rest on his laurels as he continued the hot streak to Day four, scoring a four-under-par 67.
His closest challenger, Joe also scored a four-under-par 67 on Day Four but his previous scores let him down. On his part, Elvira scored a five-under-par 66 to also tie in second place.

GOLF Inexperience the major undoing for Kenyan golfers ahead of Magical Kenya Open
Coast-based golfer Daniel Nduva fears that inexperience might cost Kenyan golfers ahead of the Magical Kenya Open set to tee off on Thursday.
“I had a bit of a one versus one against Manuel because he was the closest one to me at the 10th hole. But he was in trouble after teeing and I held along with an eagle par.
“On the 18th, I didn’t know what the score was and I wasn’t aware of what the score was and I just kept going,” he said.
