Muhameed was named the Player of the Match as Surrey defeated Bath 68-37 in-front of an electric home crowd.

It has been three months since She Cranes' Haniisha Muhameed left Uganda for England for her maiden professional stint after Surrey Storm signed her in September 2023.

After a lengthy period of intense training and impressing her coaches, it was time for Muhameed to showcase when Storm hosted Team Bath for their first preseason game on Friday.

The Uganda Christian University (UCU) Journalism and Mass Communication graduate performed strongly, defining the reason for her acquisition.

Muhameed was named the Player of the Match as Surrey defeated Bath 68-37 in-front of an electric home crowd.

She is a former KCCA Netball Club player who caught the attention of the English Netball Super League outfit courtesy of her outstanding performance in the Netball World Cup in South Africa in August 2023.

Furthermore, Muhameed is part of the She Cranes team named for the Wales Test Series and Vitality Netball Nations Cup in the United Kingdom next week.

However, her participation in the former is doubtful and should be confirmed by her club, while she will undoubtedly be with the She Cranes for the latter.

Besides being a goalkeeper, she can also be considered a goal shooter, a position she played in some World Cup matches.

Muhameed is among the three Ugandan players plying their trade in the UK; the others are her teammate Peace Proscovia and Mary Nuba of Loughborough Lightning.

Whereas Muhameed and Nuba will play for the She Cranes in the forthcoming engagements, Proscovia will be the team's assistant coach.
