These fraudsters have been falsely advertising and selling tickets for the event, preying on the excitement and eagerness of rally enthusiasts.
However, the organizers of the Safari Rally have taken swift action to ensure that fans are not deceived.
"Beware of Scams! Please be informed that the WRC Safari Rally is an admission-free event. No tickets are available for purchase or sale. Stay cautious and avoid falling victim to fraudulent activities," reads a statement from Safari Rally Kenya.
The clarion call is crucial to safeguarding the rally's reputation and preserving the event's integrity.
In recent years, online scams and fraudulent activities have become increasingly prevalent, posing significant risks to unsuspecting individuals.

The 2023 WRC Safari Rally will again have the top three automakers, Toyota Gazoo Racing, Hyundai Motorsport, and M-Sport Ford, participating in the gruelling rally searching for points in the 13-legged series.
Elfyn Evans and Takamoto Katsuta, the Japanese star who has previously finished on the podium in Kenya, Kalle Rovanperä, and Sebastien Ogier, the winner of the last two competitions, will also field Toyota GR Yaris cars.
Esapekka Lappi, Thierry Neuville, and Dani Sordo will drive a trio of Hyundai Motorsport's i20 Ns. At the same time, Ott Tänak, Pierre-Louis Loubet, and privateer Jourdan Serderidis will operate M-Sport Ford Pumas.
