Ox Nché and Bongi Mbonambi have been awarded the brand-new Mitsubishi Triton Xtreme and Mitsubishi Pajero Sport respectively.

Two Springboks stars, Ox Nché and Bongi Mbonambi have been honoured with two cars by Mitsubishi Motors South Africa courtesy of their exploits that saw them clinch victory at the 2023 Rugby World Cup.

The duo will drive brand-new Mitsubishi products to celebrate their victory at the 2023 Rugby World Cup. As reported by Car Mag, Nche debuted in the Springbok jersey in 2018 against Wales and he has built up a reputation for delivering power in a scrum.

Due to his power and dominance, Mitsubishi has rewarded him for his efforts with a brand-new Mitsubishi Triton Xtreme.

The Triton Xtreme is characterised by its much bolder styling than the rest of the Triton range. It has a Dynamic Shield front design, which includes a black bumper and grille.

Additionally, this model features a Fender flare kit, which elevates its aggressive demeanor. The vehicle costs Ksh 6,695,000.

“Following an impressive Rugby World Cup Win Ox’ Nché deserves to have his cake and eat it and Mitsubishi Motors are proud to support this impressive Springboks player with a Triton Xtreme,” Jeffrey Allison, General Marketing Manager at Mitsubishi Motors South Africa (MMSA) said as per Car Mag.

On his part, Mbonambi has been awarded the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport due to his abundance of strength, physicality, and strong defensive ability. The vehicle costs Ksh 6,534,000.

“We feel that the iconic Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, that is renowned for its off-road prowess as well as DNA that was morphed with the Pajero and the motorsport success which that model enjoyed perfectly suits a robust and impactful player like Mbonambi and we trust that it will transport him and his family across many happy miles and to much more rugby success,” Allison added.
