Bryson DeChambeau made his PGA Tour debut as an amateur in June 2015 at the FedEx St. Jude Classic, finishing 45th.

He played in his first major in the U.S. Open but missed the cut by four strokes.

In 2016, DeChambeau failed to defend his NCAA title because SMU received a postseason ban, so he chose to skip his senior year and play in several events before turning pro.

In November 2015, DeChambeau tied for second at the Australian Masters, just two shots behind the winner.

He was also the low amateur at the 2016 Masters, finishing tied for 21st.

In 2017, DeChambeau joined the PGA Tour and secured his first PGA Tour victory at the John Deere Classic that same year.

In the summer of 2018, DeChambeau won the Memorial Tournament in a playoff after tying at −15 with Kyle Stanley and An Byeong-hun.

Later that summer, on August 26,  DeChambeau won The Northern Trust with a score of 266, breaking the tournament record at Ridgewood Country Club.

The following week, he won again at the Dell Technologies Championship, finishing two shots ahead of Justin Rose.

These back-to-back wins put him over 2,000 points ahead in the FedEx Cup standings, securing the top seed for the Tour Championship.

Although he finished 19th at that event, DeChambeau ended the season ranked 3rd overall and earned $2 million in prize money.

In September, DeChambeau was selected for the U.S. Ryder Cup team but went 0–3–0, including a singles loss to Alex Norén, as the U.S. lost to Europe.

On November 4, DeChambeau won the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in Las Vegas, earning $1.26 million and moving up to 5th in the world rankings.

In January 2019, he won the Omega Dubai Desert Classic with a final-round 64, winning by seven strokes, his first European Tour title.

In December that year, DeChambeau played on the winning U.S. team at the Presidents Cup in Australia, finishing with one loss and one tie.

In late 2019,  DeChambeau began adding muscle to increase his swing speed, gaining 40 pounds by mid-2020.

After the COVID-19 break, he led the PGA Tour in driving distance and won the Rocket Mortgage Classic in July 2020, his seventh straight top-10 finish.

That summer, he had two strange rules incidents, once arguing a ball was in bounds under a fence, and another time asking for relief due to "red ants" - both of which were denied.

DeChambeau missed the cut at the Memorial and doubled a hole at the WGC event.

DeChambeau tied for fourth at the PGA Championship and, six weeks later, he won the U.S. Open at Winged Foot by six strokes, making it his first major and one of the most dominant wins in tournament history.

He became the third player ever to win the NCAA title, U.S. Amateur, and U.S. Open since Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods.

In 2021, DeChambeau won the Arnold Palmer Invitational and lost in a playoff at the BMW Championship.

At the Open, he blamed his driver, upsetting Cobra Golf, but later apologized.

DeChambeau went 2–0–1 at the Ryder Cup, helping the U.S. team win.

In 2022, after a wrist surgery and initial support for the PGA Tour, DeChambeau joined LIV Golf in June.

His move sparked backlash, including criticism from 9/11 families.

In 2023, he told CNN people should “move forward in forgiveness.”

In August 2023, he won his first LIV event at The Greenbrier, shooting a record-tying 58 in the final round.
