Etot scored 13 goals last season where injury woes ruined her plans to grab the Golden Boot award.

Football Kenya Federation Women’s Premier League (FKFWPL) side Zetech Sparks are interested in signing Monica Etot from Division One outfit Kisumu All Starlets.

Etot found the back of the net 13 times for coach Beryl Okech’s side in the recently concluded season when the team was playing in the top-flight league.

The Harambee Starlets striker has previously been linked with Tanzanian outfit Fountain Gate Princes but the move failed to materialize.

Now, Zetech Sparks have expressed their interest in acquiring the services of Etot ahead of the upcoming season.

"There are a couple of names in the frame, one of them is Etot. I believe we have a better chance to recruit her,” Zetech Sparks coach Bernard Kitotlo told reporters.

The potential move to Zetech Sparks would present an exciting opportunity for Etot to continue her development and showcase her skills at a higher level.

Playing again in the FKF WPL  would provide her with increased exposure and the chance to compete against some of the top talents in the country.

For the Students, securing the signature of Monica Etot would be a significant coup.

Her goal-scoring prowess and attacking instincts would add firepower to their squad, enhancing their chances of success in the upcoming season.

With the coach expressing his optimism about the potential recruitment, it seems that negotiations are underway to bring Etot to the club.

As the transfer saga unfolds, fans of both Kisumu All Starlets and Zetech Sparks eagerly await news of whether the deal will be completed.

If successful, Etot will don the Zetech Sparks jersey, aiming to continue her goal-scoring exploits and make a significant impact in the top-flight league.
