Harambee Stars defender Zak Vyner was instrumental in Bristol City’s 2-1 victory over Oxford United in their SkyBet Championship encounter on Saturday.

 Vyner’s composure and passing were key to the Robins' success, as he completed 91% of his passes and made six accurate long balls from 11 attempts. He also dominated in the air, winning four out of six aerial duels, and came close to scoring with an expected goal ratio of 0.26.

Bristol City had to come from behind after Ruben Rodrigues gave Oxford the lead in the first half. However, the Robins rallied in the second half, with Sinclair Armstrong equalizing before Nahki Wells netted the winner from the penalty spot, securing their first win in four Championship matches.

Tyler Onyango’s Stockport Suffer 4-1 defeat to Zech Obiero’s Leyton Orient

In League 1 action, Tyler Onyango, who is on loan from Everton. endured a frustrating afternoon on the bench as his Stockport County side were thrashed 4-1 by Zech Obiero’s Leyton Orient. 

Although Obiero did not feature in the match after playing in Orient's Carabao Cup loss earlier in the week, Leyton Orient dominated the contest, courtesy of Ethan Galbraith’s first-half brace, with additional goals from Dan Agyei and Sean Clare.

Stockport County briefly fought back when Jack Diamond scored to make it 2-1, but they couldn’t maintain the momentum as Orient added two more to seal Stockport's first league defeat of the season.
