According to reports from the Sun, during the Nations League clash in Luzern, the 24-year-old Aston Villa player experienced a collision that resulted in a bloodied nose, leading to her substitution in the 70th minute. 

Following the game, Lehmann shared updates on Instagram to her 16 million followers, including snapshots from the match and her post-injury treatment. 

Her former Aston Villa teammate Ruesha Littlejohn joined a flood of supportive comments, praising Lehmann's strength and resilience.
