Yamal continued his consistent high-rate performances for the Blaugrana this season. In the 5-1 triumph over Villarreal last weekend, he helped close off the scoring with an incredible ‘trivela’ assist.
Following the match, his 35-year-old father, who is an active social media user with the Instagram handle @hustle_hard_304, shared a picture of the teenager on his page, likening this son to the late great, Diego Armando Maradona.
“Great son, you remind me of the great myth Diego arming Maradona,” Mounir posted on his Instagram page.
While Yamal might not be as diminutive or possess a similar frame as either Argentine, Messi or Maradona, he has certainly shown he is capable of producing magic consistently, like those two did.
