Darren Bent believes with the strings of bad results held by Frank Lampard it will be difficult for him to get another job.
Former Tottenham striker Darren Bent has predicted Frank Lampard might not get another managerial job.
The current Chelsea boss will step down from his role after the final matchday of the Premier League season.
Lampard's second Chelsea spell in brief
Under the management of Lampard, the Blues have only won one out 13 matches, their latest is the 4-1 loss to Man United.
The former England midfielder was struggling at Everton last season after taking over from Rafa Benitez who sacked in January of 2022.
The Toffees struggled all through Lampard’s reign but escaped being relegated on the final day last season. The former West Ham midfielder was then showed the door in the 2022-23 campaign.
What Darren Bent believes
According to former England striker Bent it is now a case if Lampard will be employed by another top English club next season.
Bent told talkSPORT:
“I can’t see him getting another job.
“He’s managed eight Premier League games and lost six, it’s appalling. He’s managed ten in all competitions and lost eight.”
