Following his side's 2-1 home defeat to Bayelsa United on Sunday, Adamu resigned from his position citing management's interference in his duties.
In what seems to be an ensuing drama, Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Wikki Tourists, have put out a statement denying that head coach Abdullahi Adamu has formally resigned from his position.
The Wikki Tourists gaffer following his side's 2-1 home defeat to Bayelsa United on Sunday, resigned from his position barely a month after taking over the club's vacant managerial job.

Wikki Tourists deny knowledge of Adamu departure
According to the chairman of Wikki Tourists, Balarabe Yusuf Douglas the club is yet to formally receive the resignation of its 'former' manager.
Douglas revealed in an interview session with journalists in Bauchi, that he and members of the club's board only saw his resignation letter on social media.
"I want to tell you that we are yet to formally receive any letter of resignation from the coach," the Wikki Tourists chairman said as reported by Sports247.
"We only saw it on social media just like the way you might have seen it, and when we saw it we called him to find out what was happening and he promised to come to the office but since then we didn’t see him. He even promised to take the training on Wednesday (April 12th) but unfortunately, he didn’t show up. So, we don’t know what’s happening.
"If he knew he was leaving, we expect him to officially submit his resignation letter just like the way we unveiled him for documentation purposes."
The Chairman said his reaction is to clear the air on the issue because of the numerous calls he received and reports he has seen in the Media.
