Thirteen-time Uganda Premier League champions KCCA FC have officially moved separate ways with midfielder Moses Waiswa, confirming the speculation that had linked out.
The 2018 FUFA Male Player of the Year still had six months to end his contract but chose to terminate it to seek greener pastures.
"KCCA FC and player Moses Waiswa Ndhondhi have today, Thursday, January 11, 2024, mutually parted ways with immediate effect," a club statement said on Thursday.
Waiswa joined KCCA as a free agent in June 2022, having ended his time at South African outfit Supersport United, and inked a two-year deal from June 2022 to June 2024.
According to multiple reports, including Swift Sports, it's Waiswa's representatives who sought the termination.
They also claimed the player felt "betrayed by KCCA after falling out of favour in team selection."
