Jamal Musiala has opened up about temptations to join Manchester United following persuasion from a new 'Red Devils' striker.

Jamal Musiala has disclosed that Joshua Zirkzee, Manchester United's new striker, made an earnest attempt to persuade him to join the Premier League giants this summer.

Zirkzee, who was part of a major spending spree at United, tried to entice Musiala to make the move from Bayern Munich to Old Trafford.

The conversation between Musiala and Zirkzee took place during their summer holiday, where Zirkzee, having recently secured his own move to United, playfully but sincerely urged his former Bayern Munich teammate to join him at the Red Devils.

Despite Zirkzee's playful banter about reuniting at Bayern Munich, the Dutch striker's effort to lure Musiala to Manchester highlights a significant moment of transfer intrigue.

Manchester United had a busy transfer window, splashing close to £200 million on new signings including Zirkzee, Leny Yoro, Manuel Ugarte, Matthijs de Ligt, and Noussair Mazraoui.

However, Musiala's potential move was a topic of considerable speculation. Although United’s eighth-place finish in the Premier League last season might seem a deterrent, Musiala’s contract situation at Bayern, which expires in less than two years, makes the prospect of a move more plausible.

Musiala, who has been pivotal for Bayern Munich and the German national team, remains focused on his current commitments. He stated, “I am very happy at FC Bayern and fully focused on our goals with the club and the national team. I don’t think too much about where I will be playing in five years. Things can always change quickly in the world of football.”

While Musiala’s immediate future remains at Bayern, Zirkzee’s attempt to recruit him underscores the ongoing allure of Manchester United and the dynamic nature of football transfers.
