Dani Alves has made his first public statement after paying a huge amount for his release from prison last week.
The Brazilian discusses how he has adjusted to life behind bars and his will to overcome any obstacles that may arise.
Alves, who recently appealed a four-and-a-half year jail sentence for rape, was granted release last week after posting a €1 million bail bond, reportedly financed by a Brazilian magazine in exchange for an interview.

Dani Alves on Life after Bail and Facing Legal Proceedings
Speaking to Spanish news outlet El Periodico, Alves shed light on his routine under bail conditions, as reported by Daily Mail, stating, "It's what I have to do. Every Friday I go to court and that's it. I don't have much else to do either."
While he refrained from delving into specifics about his case, he humorously remarked about the legal proceedings, saying, "The game I have to play is in the courts."
Despite uncertainties surrounding the duration of the judicial process, Alves remains confident, asserting, "Wherever I go I survive."
When questioned about his prison experience over the past 14 months, Alves emphasized his adaptability, stating, "I adapt to everything because for me it is not the place that makes the person, but the person that makes the place."
However, Alves promptly took to Instagram to refute claims of granting any interviews until the court process concluded.
He reiterated his stance after securing release on bail, indicating that he remains focused on the legal proceedings ahead.
But immediately after the claimed interview with El Periodico was made public, Alves posted on Instagram, denying any knowledge of having given an interview to any media outlet or intending to do so until the court case is over.
Dani Alves said, “It is not true that I granted any interview to any media outlets, nor will I grant it until the court process is resolved.”
