Super Eagles playmaker Alex Iwobi has hit new heights despite Fulham's defeat to Wolves in the Premier League.
Nigeria’s Alex Iwobi was on the scoresheet once again but couldn't prevent Fulham from slipping to a 2-1 defeat against Wolves at Molineux.
The Nigerian international netted a late consolation in the eighth minute of stoppage time, lashing home an improvised right-footed from inside six yards on Saturday evening.

Alex Iwobi will never be like Jay Jay Okocha - Ex-Super Eagles striker, Yakubu Aiyegbeni

Iwobi reaches new heights
It was Iwobi's sixth in all competitions for the Cottagers as he continues to enjoy the most prolific campaign of his career to date.
The 27-year-old has now surpassed his previous best goals tally in the Premier League, which was during the 2018/19 season with former club Arsenal.
Back then, Iwobi impressed with three goals and six assists in 35 top-flight appearances as he established himself in the Gunners first-team.
By the end of that campaign, the versatile Super Eagles midfielder had registered six goals and eight assists in 51 matches across all competitions.
But the 2023/24 season represents new heights for the Super Eagles star, with his late strike at Wolves his fifth in the Premier League already - and there are still 10 games remaining.
It capped an industrious individual display from Iwobi, who completed 79% of his passes, created seven chances and made six recoveries in an all-action midfield performance.
The disappointment will be that his goal proved only a consolation after second-half efforts from Rayan Ait-Nouri and a Tom Cairney own goal had fired Wolves into a 2-0 lead.
The defeat halted a run of two straight Premier League wins for Marco Silva's side, who have now distanced themselves from relegation worries.
But Iwobi can still take pride in his overall contribution this term, with the former Arsenal man revitalising his career at Craven Cottage following his summer switch.
His outstanding performances at the Africa Cup of Nations indicated Iwobi was ready to take his game to new levels. Now he is delivering on that promise in the Premier League.
If he can maintain this scoring rate between now and May, even bigger things could be on the horizon for the red-hot Nigerian next season.
