Nigeria's Victor Osimhen finally arrived at the Super Eagles AFCON 2025 camp after he ended his transfer saga with a move to Galatasaray.

AC Milan winger Samuel Chukwueze had something cheeky to say after teammate Victor Osimhen finally arrived at the Super Eagles camp in Uyo for the upcoming AFCON 2025 qualifiers against Benin Republic and Rwanda.

His arrival comes on the heels of a dramatic transfer saga that saw him secure a loan move to Turkish giants Galatasaray from Napoli.

The 2023 African Player of the Year was initially expected to report to the national team camp earlier, but his club transfer negotiations delayed his arrival.

After finalising his shock loan deal with the Turkish giants, Osimhen wasted no time in joining his international teammates for the international break.

The forward departed Turkey via private jet, embarking on a night flight to Nigeria. He touched down in the early hours of Thursday morning, demonstrating his commitment to the national team despite his recent club upheaval.

Upon his arrival at the camp, Osimhen received a warm welcome from his teammates and the coaching staff, led by interim boss Augustine Eguavoen.

The unity among the players was evident, with AC Milan star Samuel Chukwueze greeting Osimhen with a lighthearted jab: "You for no come," (You shouldn't have come) before the two friends shared a laugh and an embrace in a video posted by the team on social media.

This reunion comes at a crucial time for the Super Eagles, as they prepare for their AFCON 2025 qualifying matches against the Benin Republic and Rwanda.

Osimhen's presence is expected to boost the team's morale and firepower as they aim to secure their spot in the continental tournament.

The striker's arrival also marks the end of a stormy period in his career, having finally secured a move away from Napoli after a dramatic transfer window.
