In a moment that captured the magic of football, David Beckham made a surprise appearance at the Golazo studio on Tuesday night, leaving former Manchester City defender Micah Richards starstruck.

The unexpected visit set the stage for an electrifying opening to the UEFA Champions League season.

Richards, now a pundit, could barely contain his excitement as the Manchester United legend walked in.

When co-host Jamie Carragher probed about the source of Beckham's charm, asking if it was "the hair" or "the suit," Richards gushed, "It's everything.”

“He smells good, he looks good, and look at his style, the suit is fresh. Oh my gosh, what a guy."

Beckham, known for his grace both on and off the pitch, appeared humbled by the warm reception, watching shyly as Richards showered him with compliments.

This touching moment set the tone for a night of football that lived up to the Champions League's reputation for drama and excitement.

The revamped tournament format delivered an 11-goal thriller as Bayern Munich, under the guidance of Premier League legend Vincent Kompany, dominated the headlines with a stunning 9-2 victory over Dinamo Zagreb.

England captain Harry Kane continued his scintillating form, netting a hat-trick for the German giants.

English clubs enjoyed a successful start to their European campaigns, with both Aston Villa and Liverpool securing impressive away wins.

The Villains triumphed at Young Boys, while Liverpool overcame AC Milan, each team finding the net three times.
