Arsenal manager was left lamenting after his side yielded the lead to share the spoils with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has expressed disappointment after his team missed the opportunity to secure all three points in a tense 1-1 draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the English Premier League (EPL) on Sunday.
The Gunners, who initially held the lead, were forced to settle for a share of the spoils after Chelsea managed to equalize.
Arsenal opened the scoring with a powerful near-post finish by Gabriel Martinelli, who was perfectly set up by captain Martin Odegaard on his return to the lineup.
The goal seemed to position the Gunners for a much-needed win, but Chelsea struck back just ten minutes later with a stunning long-range effort from Pedro Neto.

'There is always a first time'-Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola unfazed by record consecutive defeats
Brighton came from Behind to hand Guardiola and Manchester City their fourth straight defeat in what has been a rough patch for the defending champions.
As the clock wound down, Arsenal came close to clinching victory when Leandro Trossard narrowly missed a last-second opportunity.
Stretching to meet a cross from William Saliba, Trossard’s attempt fell just short, leaving Arsenal to settle for a point.
Reflecting on the outcome, Arteta voiced his frustration at the result.
“We were very unlucky. We have dominated one of the best teams in Europe but we don’t get the results,” he said via Hayster TV.
“That is what is missing,” Arteta added, noting the recurring challenge of holding onto leads in crucial games.
