NPFL: El Kanemi relegated, joins Dakkada in NNL
Relegation ends the Borno Army's 11-year stint in the top flight, after they were promoted back from the NNL in 2012.
Wikki Tourists or Rangers in line to join relegation party
Dakkada were on Sunday, joined in the journey down to the NNL by the likes of Nasarawa United and El-Kanemi Warriors, after defeats to Kwara United and Akwa United.
Either of Wikki Tourists and seven-time champions, Rangers could be the fourth and final side to get relegated to the NNL as the 2023 NPFL season gravitates towards its end.
Unlike Wikki Tourists who possess an outstanding game (against defending champions Rivers United) and a final fixture against Lobi Stars, Rangers will hope that their final fixture against Rivers United will be enough to keep them in the league.
