It's over two years since youngster Alpha Thierry Ssali made a grand entry into top level Football, with a beauty of a goal for his boyhood club, Proline FC.

Just 17 years then, Ssali, who is son to musician Bebe Cool, struck in style as Proline thrashed Myda FC 4-1 in the Stanbic Uganda Cup on Apirl 6, 2021.

The attacker danced past a few orange bodies, tricked his way with quick feet to the edge of the box, before striking into the bottom left corner.

Excited for what was his first goal at the top level, Ssali ran and celebrated with his supportive father by the touchline.

The experienced trio of Hakim Kiwanuka, Brian Umony and Hamis Diego Kizza scored the other three for the Mujib Kasule founded side.

His development since then has been behind the curtains with a somewhat less significant rise, with a bit of a stall due to injuries despite receiving a couple of national U-20 call-ups.

Ssali, is however back to reintroduce himself, on a much more bigger stage; the Uganda Premier League with seven-time holders, Express FC.

Having signed a two-year deal, he is expected to play a starring role for James Odoch's side as he hopes to develop into the star his potential has always promised.
