The midfielder put up a dazzling display on matchday 4 of the CAF Confederation Cup, with the Port Harcourt club cruising to a 4-1 win in Uyo.
Rivers United midfielder Paul Acquah has been named by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) as the winner of the Goal Of The Week in week four of the 2022/23 CAF Confederation Cup.
The 27-year-old Ghanaian was the hero against Congolese side Motema Pemebe; scoring all three goals for the reigning Nigeria league champions in the 3-1 victory.
With the win, Rivers United have now restored their two-point lead at the top of Group B, with nine points after four matches.

When Rivers United and Motema Pembe met in Luanda for the first leg back on February 26, Acquah also scored the game-winning goal.
As it stands and after his hattrick, the Ghanaian midfielder has brought his total for Rivers United in the CAF Confederation Cup to four goals in four games.
What this means is that Acquah now outrightly leads the scorers' chart in Africa's second-tier continental club competition.
