A squad of 23 players led by Asisat Oshoala and Chiamaka Nnadozie will lead Nigeria to the final round of the WAFCON with Michelle Alozie missing.
The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, has released a list of 23 Super Falcons players invited for the decisive final round of matches in the Women’s African Cup of Nations, WAFCON.
Barcelona superstars, Asisat Oshoala, and Chiamaka Nnadozie will lead 21 others, but there is no space for popular defender Michelle Alozie in the team.

The nine-time champions will host Cape Verde in the first leg clash slated for the M.K.O Stadium in Abuja on November 30.
Nigeria defeated Ethiopia 5-1 on aggregate in their last game and will hope to continue the brilliant record of having reached every edition of the WAFCON since its inception in 1998 with another win.
According to a communique from the NFF, the coach of the side Justin Madugu made the list public on Monday ahead of the decisive clash.
Oshoala leads the squad alongside talented goalkeeper, Nnadozie, with Atletico Madrid’s Rasheedat Ajibade also invited for the clash.
While other popular names were also called up, new star, Omorinsola Babajide gets a recall to the team, there was no place for Houston Dallas star, Alozie and Saudi Arabia-based Ashleigh Plumptre.
Meanwhile, Esther Onyenezide of Robo Queens, Remo Stars’ Akudo Ogbonna and Rihanat Kasali of Bayelsa Queens are the home-based stars in the team.
