Karisa had sustained a hamstring injury in their game against SC Villa over two weeks back, as they drew one-all, but he is back training with the team.

Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC will likely welcome captain Milton Karisa when they host neighbours Wakiso Giants FC on Tuesday at the St Mary's Stadium, Kitende floodlights.

Karisa had sustained a hamstring injury in their game against SC Villa over two weeks back, as they drew one-all, but he is back training with the team.

Vipers head coach Leo Neiva confirmed Karisa had trained for the past two days and that he would make a decision on his participation.

"Karisa trained for the past two days, but we shall wait tomorrow and see if he will play," the tactician told Vipers media.

Karisa missed Vipers 2-0 victory over Soltilo Bright Stars last time out at the Kavumba Recreation Center.

He is a Vipers' mainstay and stalwart who rarely sits out games and has played first the four league games this season.

Last season, the hardworking forward only sat out two games as he played 26, scoring nine and assisting as many goals.

Meanwhile, midfielder Marvin Joseph Youngman has also been ruled out of the game against his Wakiso Giants due to injury.

Ghanaian forward Fumador Asiwome, attacking midfielder Allan Okello and defender Hillary Mukundane continue to be sidelined through respective injury layoffs.
