Vipers' CAF Champions League opponents, Jwaneng Galaxy, will host Vipers SC in a more spacious stadium in the preliminary round first leg tie slated for August 20.
The Botswana champions announced on August 2 confirming that their 2,000 seater home ground, Galaxy Stadium, will not be used in the tie.
"The 1st Leg home fixture will be hosted at Lobatse Sports Complex on Sunday, 20 August 2023," part of the statement published by the club reads.
"We are counting a few weeks from now before the 2023/24 season of the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League begins. Lesagaripa la dinaledi will host Vipers FC from Uganda in the preliminary round."

According to Botswana National Sports Council, Lobatse Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Lobatse, Botswana mainly used for football matches and serves as the home stadium of Extension Gunners.
The stadium holds 20,000 people and is of natural grass surface. Vipers SC will then host the return leg a week later between 25th-27th at the St Mary's Stadium Kitende.
The aggregate winner of the tie will face Djabal from Comoros and South African giants Orlando Pirates in the second round.The winner from the second round will advance to the competition's group stages.
