Vinicius Jr was told to change his attitude by a former Real Madrid star.
Former Real Madrid star Sami Khedira has advised Vinicius Jr to improve his attitude and work on his temperament if he wants to reach the level of greats.
The now-retired Khedira played for Los Blancos from 2010 to 2015 and was an integral member of the famous La Decima squad. He was teammates with the previous superstar in the Real Madrid dressing room, Cristiano Ronaldo, and believes Vinicius has the latent level to reach those heights. However, his attitude has to change first, according to Khedira.

What Khedira said
Vinicius reached great heights in the previous campaign, so much so that losing the Ballon d'Or to Rodri was seen as egregious in many spheres.
Khedira is a huge fan of the Brazilian's talents and believes he would be a future winner of multiple Ballons d'Or. The German keeps tabs on Vinicius and is aware of his reputation of being petulant.
And for him, the former Flamengo man, he would only truly hit projected heights if he loses some of the temper.
“Vini changes the games. When Madrid don't know what to do, they give the ball to Vinicius and that's it, he fixes it,” Khedira said.
“But I have to add one thing: his attitude sometimes... he seems angry a lot. Cristiano was a bit like that when he was young, but he changed quickly. If Vinicius wants to be like Messi, Zidane, Cristiano, Xavi, he has to be a bit more respectful with the opponent, with the referees.
“That has to change. But speaking of football, he is number one, of course. I'm not a big fan of individual awards, but it seems to me that both of them, Rodri and Vini, were the best this year. If Vini changes a little and is more of a gentleman and more of a leader, he will win three or four Ballon d'Ors.”
