It was a memorable night for Nigerians as the Super Eagles kept alive the hope of doing it again at the AFCON a fourth time with a brilliant outing against Cameroon.
Ademola Lookman led the way with a brace, with Osimhen providing the decisive assist for his first-half opener in the 36-minute.

The Napoli man led the celebrations, with images and videos of him screaming during and after the game taking over the screens and social media platforms.
After the game, journalists tried to speak to the Napoli icon to get his thoughts on the game but the 25-year-olf pleaded that he had lost his voice.

“My voice don go,” a visibly exhausted Osimhen told reported at the mixed zone according to a video posted by Pooja Media on X.com.
Osimhen, who has now scored one and assisted another, was a standout player for Nigeria against the Indomitable Lions.
The Napoli man would be hoping to build on that performance when the Super Eagles take on Angola next in the quarterfinals.
