Napoli are reportedly close to reaching an agreement with Al-Ahli for the transfer of Victor Osimhen.
The Victor Osimhen transfer saga is in its final act and the resolution could well be a move to Saudi Arabia, as Napoli are reportedly close to accepting a bid from Saudi Professional League side Al-Ahli.
The 25-year-old has a €130 million release clause in his contract and having handed in a transfer request and after completing the signing of Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea, the Partenopei are keen on getting Osimhen off their books and are prepared to accept an offer significantly less than the quoted fee.

Al-Ahli close to agreement with Napoli
With top European clubs like Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain reported to have pulled out of the race for the Nigerian striker, Fabrizio Romano broke tonight that Al Ahli of Saudi are close to reaching an agreement with Napoli for his services.
The report states that Al-Ahli’s offer is a package in excess of €65 million, and Napoli are close to agreeing and are ironing out the details.
Also, Osimhen is believed to be amenable to the deal, a shift from his previous stance. However, he has yet to reach an agreement with the PIF-backed club, as he has the following conditions: He wants a significant salary bump, a permanent transfer (no loan), and a release clause added to the deal.
Meanwhile, Napoli continue to spend, hoping to recoup through the sale of Osimhen. After completing the deal for Lukaku, they reached an agreement with Manchester United to sign midfielder Scott McTominay for a fee of around €30 million, with United set to receive a percentage of any future sale.
McTominay has one year left on his contract at Old Trafford with an option for an additional year, and Napoli are working hard on talks with the player to reach an agreement on personal terms.
