According to reports, Chelsea are backing out of Victor Osimhen’s deal and have made a move for Everton star Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
The Blues have been after the reigning African Footballer of the Year all summer and were close to agreeing a deal with Napoli.
However, the primary obstacle to a deal is the club's asking price, as Napoli values their number nine at 130 million euros.
Chelsea have now set their eye on other targets, with Everton striker topping the Blues transfer list.

Chelsea look for other alternatives
The Sun UK reported that Chelsea is also looking into other striker options, such as Federico Chiesa of Juventus and Dominic Calvert-Lewin of Everton, who are both seen as less expensive choices.
The report went on to say that Osimhen's enormous wage demands might put off his planned transfer to Chelsea.
Following his signing of a contract extension at Napoli, Osimhen witnessed a rise in pay from 4.5 million euros to 10 million euros plus bonuses as of the previous season.
According to reports, the Super Eagles player is requesting pay that would put him among the Premier League's top-paid players.
Osimhen is hesitant to come to Stamford Bridge temporarily, and Chelsea wasn't able to arrange with Napoli to bring him in on loan with a buyout option.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have sold Romelu Lukaku to Napoli and he is set to be reunited with former boss Antonio Conte.
