Venezuela beat Jamaica to make it three wins out of three in the group stage.

Venezuela asserted their dominance with a commanding 3-0 victory over Jamaica in their final Group B match of the Copa América in Austin. With both teams having little at stake—Venezuela already assured of a Round of 16 spot and Jamaica eliminated—the match began cautiously.

The first half saw Venezuela control possession but struggle to convert chances, with Salomón Rondón's attempt sailing over the crossbar and Darwin Machís's cross being tipped away by Jahmali White.

The second half saw a shift in momentum as Venezuela broke the deadlock just four minutes in. Eduard Bello found himself unmarked at the back post to head in Jon Aramburu's cross.

Rondón extended Venezuela's lead in the 55th minute with a clinical finish, assisted by Yangel Herrera, effectively sealing the match. The Vinotinto continued to press, and substitute Eric Ramírez added a third goal late in the game.

The result not only secured Venezuela's top spot in Group B but also made history for the nation, marking the first time they have won all three group stage matches in a Copa América.

Their focus now shifts to a quarterfinal showdown against Canada at AT&T Stadium. Meanwhile, Jamaica's disappointing campaign ends without a point, highlighting their struggles against CONMEBOL opposition. Jamaica since joining Copa America in 2015, have not picked up any points since then.

Venezuela's performance showcased their growing confidence and cohesion, making them a formidable contender as the tournament progresses. With key players like Rondón and Bello in fine form, they will look to build on this momentum in pursuit of Copa América glory.
