Ugandans are set for an exciting sports broadcasting shake-up as NBS Sport unveils fresh shows, new hosts, and deeper coverage.

Ugandans are about to witness a groundbreaking transformation in sports broadcasting as NBS Sport unveils a major shake-up designed to enhance how fans consume sports content.

With new shows, fresh faces, and deeper coverage, this change is set to bring a more engaging, informative, and dynamic experience to sports lovers across the country.

The network’s latest campaign, #NBSportShakeUp and #BraceForImpact, has already sparked excitement, signaling a bold new direction for sports programming in Uganda.

NBS Sport TV Brand Manager Victor Akatwijuka, in an interview with Pulse Sport, said, “This shake-up is about giving our audience a richer, more engaging sports experience. We’re introducing new formats, increasing interactivity, and ensuring fans get top-tier sports content at the best time.”

One of the most significant changes is the launch of ‘Sport This Morning’, which will replace ‘Sport This Evening’ to give Ugandans a fresh and energetic start to their day.

Airing weekdays from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM, the show will be hosted by Andrew Kabuura, Brian Tuuka, and Serah Yaweh, bringing the latest sports news, expert analysis, and engaging discussions.

Whether covering football, basketball, rugby, or breaking sports stories, the show will ensure fans start their mornings fully updated. The move from an evening to a morning time slot reflects NBS Sport’s commitment to delivering timely updates when fans need them most.

Fans who prefer catching up on sports during lunch breaks can look forward to a revamped version of ‘Lunch Time Sport’, hosted by Stuart Kimera and Fifi Phionah Pinky.

With a mix of fast-paced analysis, expert commentary, and interactive discussions, this show is set to keep viewers entertained and informed while they enjoy their midday break.

Beyond refreshing existing shows, NBS Sport is introducing exciting new programs that cater to a wide range of sports fans.

One of the most anticipated additions is ‘The Pavilion’, hosted by Jermaine Egesa and Ian Mutenda. This show takes a unique approach, exploring the cultural and social aspects of sports.

Instead of just focusing on match results, ‘The Pavilion’ will feature in-depth stories, behind-the-scenes insights, and discussions on global sports trends, making it a must-watch for those who love the deeper side of the game.

For fans who need a quick yet comprehensive sports update, ‘11 at 11’ with Serah Yaweh will be a game-changer. Airing daily at 11 AM, the show will highlight the top 11 sports stories of the day, ensuring viewers stay informed without having to sit through lengthy broadcasts.

Another exciting addition to NBS Sport’s lineup is ‘Embozi Teba Nkade’, hosted by Fifi Phionah Pinky. This show will bring compelling sports narratives to life, offering investigative storytelling and human-interest pieces that go beyond the scores and statistics.

Basketball fans have something special to look forward to as well. ‘The Rebound’, a brand-new show dedicated entirely to basketball, will provide in-depth coverage of everything from local leagues to international matchups.

Viewers can expect expert breakdowns, game highlights, and exclusive interviews with players, coaches, and analysts.

The #NBSportShakeUp is more than just a schedule change; it is a deliberate move to make sports broadcasting more interactive, exciting, and tailored to what fans want.

With a renewed focus on audience engagement, NBS Sport is introducing more live discussions, social media interactions, and exclusive behind-the-scenes access to bring fans closer to the action.

Whether through polls, debates, or direct fan involvement, the network aims to create a two-way experience that allows viewers to be part of the conversation.

All these changes will be available across NBS Sport’s main channel and digital platforms, ensuring accessibility for every sports fan in Uganda. Whether watching live on TV or catching up online, viewers will never miss a moment of the action.
