Africa will have two slots in women's football at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Africa Football governing body, CAF, has released the roadmap for the qualifiers for the Women’s 2024 Olympics in Paris, France.
According to CAF, the draws for the qualifiers will be conducted next week on Tuesday, 30th May in Cairo, Egypt.
The four-round qualifiers are scheduled to kick off with the first round from July 10th-18th.

Akiror is the Crested Cranes' former captain, a position held now by goalkeeper Ruth Aturo.
“The African qualifiers will kick off in July 2023 and will be concluded in April 2024. This will be spread over four rounds: home and away,” CAF said.
Africa was allocated two slots for the Paris edition out of the 12.
The respective North and South American confederations have one and two slots, while Europe will have two more on top of the hosts France.
Brazil and Colombia and the United States have already taken up the available berths for the two Americas.
Zambia’s Copper Queens represented the continent in Japan last year.
Women’s football made its debut at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, USA.

First Round: 10-18 July 2023
Second Round: 23-31 October 2023
Third Round: 19-28 February 2024
Fourth Round: 1-9 April 2024
Women's Olympic Final Tournament: 25 July - 10 August 2023
